HOW TO GET AROUND HOUSTON

• There is a metro rail train in the downtown area.

• Uber is a good option if you don’t have a car.

• A car is most recommended, especially if you want to drive outside of the city like to NASA Space Center Houston. There is usually enough parking downtown, but plan on paying for it.

SPECIAL EVENTS IN HOUSTON: RODEO

• The Houston Rodeo runs during the month of February or March.

• The daily ticket includes musical artists (oftentimes big names Country Music Concerts), carnival entry, and rodeo viewing.

• Watch the livestock and rodeo events.

•

WHEN TO VISIT HOUSTON

• It can be hot and humid much of the year. Bring water along and be ready to sweat a bit.

• February, March, and November are more mild weather and a great time to visit.
